Hello all, and welcome to Edinburgh Hedgehogs’ HedgeBlog! We are African Pygmy Hedgehog breeders, based in Scotland’s capital.
We first began keeping African Pygmy Hedgehogs in 2009, when we got our first chocolate chip, Henry. Two years on, and our hedgie clan has now extended to include Darwin, Misty (a rescue hedgehog), Ripley, and Cuddles.
So far, we’ve bred two litters sucessfully – of which Ripley and Cuddles are the product – and plan to breed more in the summer of 2012. If you’d like to be put on our waiting list for a hoglet, please read the ‘Care’, and ‘Available Hoglets’ sections first, and contact us accordingly. You don’t need to have owned an APH before, but we do expect our buyers to have done their research, and to have a sound understanding of the type of care that animals of this nature require.
If you have any questions at all, or wish to put your name down for a hoglet, please contact us at edinburgh_hedgehogs-enquiries@yahoo.co.uk for further information.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
